![]() ![]() A good breeder is a mentor and best friend to all buyers and dogs they breed and a good breeder will sell with a spay/neuter contract or make sure the puppy is altered before placement If it is potentially hereditary, they can alter their breeding program and try to stop the problem in future generations. If a medical condition crops up, they want to know. The breeder wants to know how the dog is doing in its new home, they love getting calls and cards from you and are always there to advise you if a problem comes up. They are truly good friends and great mentors.Ī good breeder takes a LIFETIME interest in ALL the dogs they breed. These English breeders have allowed us to share my home and life with their puppies. We are located in the Pacific Northwest, just minutes from Seattle, Washington. Today we continue to show and breed puppies for both the show ring and for family companions. ![]() We are also members of the English Club, the AKC National Club and the CKCSC, USA Club. We are active with the regional Cavaliers of Puget Sound Club and have served on the board of directors for several terms. A year later, we succeeded in welcoming our third Cavalier, a black and tan puppy boy named Macy. With the arrival of Macy, we became very active in the show ring and have been successful, with several of our Cavaliers becoming Champions. We weren’t able to find the right one in the states, so we expanded our search to breeders in England. Sharon wanted to show and loved the black and tan color Cavaliers, so the search was on. From then on we have been a Cavalier home.ĭuring the next couple years, we watched and learned and enjoyed showing in the conformation ring. He was a gift to our mother Rhoda from our father. We loved her so much we decided one wasn’t enough, so we added second, a tri-colored boy we named Scout. They are truly the most loving breed we have ever encountered. We decided that the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel would be our next dog and welcomed our first Cavalier, a Blenheim girl named Maggie, into our home. Though we've had dogs all our lives, nothing compares to a Cavalier. Many years ago our family saw a Cavalier and fell in love. Rhoyal has been a family effort since 1993. Guided by a continuing commitment to the breed, we have been actively showing in both the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, USA (CKCSC USA) club and American Kennel Club (AKC) since 1994. Rhoyal Cavaliers was established by us (sisters Sharon and Rhonda) and our mother, Rhoda. We are delighted to share this wonderful breed with you, as we feel that Cavaliers are simply the best breed! We are members of the local Cavaliers of Puget Sound Club, the American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club USA, and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Cub in the UK. We can never stop learning and improving. We have been blessed with friends and mentors in the United States and abroad who have guided us, shared their experience and continue to teach us. Consequently, the puppies we sell as pets are of the very highest quality. ![]() It is important that these attributes be given high priority as the future of Cavaliers depends on responsible, informed breeding. Our emphasis is to breed Cavaliers that represent the breed in type, beauty, temperament, conformation and health. Consequently we will not always have puppies available, in which case we will gladly refer eager puppy seekers to other equally responsible, conscientious breeders.Īll of our puppies are thoughtfully bred and lovingly raised. In order to maintain an intimate relationship with our dogs we choose to keep our numbers small. Our Cavaliers are happy, affectionate little housedogs who will adapt readily to either the active lifestyle of families with children or the quieter lifestyle of stay-at-home seniors. ![]()
